In a shocking incident late Monday night, around 25 to 30 armed assailants raided a poultry farm in Rambagh Jhompdi village, located in the Tijara subdivision of Rajasthan’s Alwar district. Arriving in seven vehicles, the attackers assaulted laborers present on the farm and reportedly harassed a woman worker.

The attackers, brandishing country-made firearms, threatened the workers and forced them to stay silent. They then loaded chickens into four vehicles and fled the scene. Preliminary estimates suggest that around 100 quintals of poultry were stolen in the heist.

Villagers Intervene, Police Investigate

As the laborers raised an alarm, nearby villagers rushed to the scene. They managed to apprehend two pickup trucks and a Brezza car used by the robbers, while the remaining vehicles escaped. The incident has caused panic in the village, leaving locals fearful.

Demands for Swift Action

Farm owners and villagers have demanded strict action against the culprits. They have warned of protests if arrests are not made swiftly. Local residents, including Banwari Lal, Rakesh Advocate, Chhotelal, Manoj, Mahendra, Heeralal, Hameed, and Rohitas Rajput, gathered at the scene to voice their concerns.

Police Response

Station House Officer (SHO) Lokesh Meena stated that the police responded quickly upon receiving the complaint and have registered a case. Initial findings suggest a possible financial dispute, but authorities are exploring all angles. A manhunt is underway to apprehend the remaining suspects.
