Alembic Pharma and Amlan International Launch MinerTox-Z & MinerTox-A in India to Safeguard Poultry Health

Mumbai: In a major move to strengthen poultry health and productivity, Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd., through a strategic collaboration with Amlan International, has announced the India launch of MinerTox-Z and MinerTox-A — two advanced feed additive solutions designed to protect poultry against toxins and improve farm performance.

Toxins—both fungal (mycotoxins) and bacterial—pose a persistent threat to the Indian poultry industry, often leading to reduced immunity, poor feed conversion, and hidden economic losses. Addressing these challenges, the newly introduced MinerTox range combines Alembic’s strong market presence and veterinary expertise with Amlan’s globally proven toxin control technology, offering farmers next-generation tools for flock protection.

MinerTox-Z provides broad-spectrum protection through rapid toxin-binding efficiency, ensuring immediate action against a wide range of harmful contaminants. In contrast, MinerTox-A acts as an advanced mycotoxin binder engineered for long-term stability and performance enhancement. Together, these products go beyond simple toxin neutralization — they strengthen birds’ natural defenses, support gut health, and ensure consistent productivity even under stress conditions.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. P. Karunanithi, Executive Vice President (Cluster Head) of the Animal Health Division at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd., said:

“MinerTox-Z and MinerTox-A are more than just toxin binders; they reflect a science-driven approach to empowering Indian poultry farmers. By protecting birds from multiple threats and enhancing their immunity, these solutions are designed to secure long-term flock health and profitability.”

The collaboration underscores Alembic Pharmaceuticals’ and Amlan International’s shared vision of advancing poultry health through innovation, sustainability, and scientific excellence. With these launches, the companies aim to provide farmers across India with modern, reliable solutions that enhance productivity while ensuring food safety and farm sustainability.

This initiative also aligns with the growing industry focus on precision nutrition and preventive health management, marking an important step toward minimizing losses caused by toxins — one of the most significant hidden challenges in poultry production.
